1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using JobUpdate ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JobUpdate provides a platform for contractors to share job progress updates, photos, and communicate with clients through shareable links. The Service includes:

• Job management and tracking
• Photo uploads and timeline views
• Client communication via shareable links
• Team collaboration features
• File storage and management

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Payment and Billing

JobUpdate offers a 14-day free trial followed by a monthly subscription at $39/month. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Provide accurate payment information
• Authorize recurring monthly charges
• Cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Understand that refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

5. Content and Data

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to:

• Store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service
• Share your content with clients via shareable links you generate
• Backup your content for disaster recovery purposes

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share all content you post to the Service.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Deleted jobs are retained for 30 days in "Recently Deleted" before permanent deletion. You can request a full export of your data at any time through your account settings. Upon account cancellation, your data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

JobUpdate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
